Personal Care
Personal Care covers a variety of supports including:
- Bathing, dressing, grooming and all hygiene needs
- Meal preparation, eating and drinking
- Getting in and out of bed
- Taking medication
- Support with mobility, using hoists and lifting machine assistance
- Assistance with going to the shops, or appointments, paying bills
- Attend day programs or socialisation activities
Social Participation
Social participation leads to improvement of the physical and mental condition of elderly people and prevents them from dementia. Our team are here to assist our older clients participate in a range of activities or programs such as: attending dance or exercise classes, book clubs or libraries, gardening crafts and puzzles to keep the mind stimulated go to the movies, museums or visit family and friends.
Domestic Assistance
Assistance with everyday household tasks such as:
- General house cleaning, vacuuming, mopping, dusting and dishes
- Deep cleaning of bathroom and kitchen
- Changing of linen & doing laundry
- Checking the refrigerator for out of date items
- Unescorted Shopping (without the client in attendance)
In-Home Respite Care
In-home Respite Care gives carers access to some downtime and a break from their everyday role so they can attend to personal business and look after themselves for a certain amount of time.
In-home Respite Care is designed to provide home and community based respite to the primary carer(s) within the caregiver’s home. Respite Care is a chance for you and the person you care for to take a break.
Transport and Travel
Assistance with Transport and Travel helps participants build capacity to independently travel using our transport and travel assistance services. Transport support consists of personal transport training to use public transport, related aids, and equipment. Our transport services go hand in hand with participation in community, social, economic, and daily life activities through our taxis and specialist transport arrangements.
